For an ESL orange juice preservative-free, chilled stored, with a 70 days’ shelf-life.

The cap to sterilize is a flat cap with an aluminum foil.

The chemical process is not adapted because of the complex shape generating trapping hazard in the dead volumes of the cap.
The UVC solution was not validated because of not reaching the required log reduction.

 

Our Pulsed light solution fulfilled all the customer requirements, with decontamination results beyond its expectations.

Outside >3.8 log reduction on B. Atrophaeus SC 204-2

 

On the dairy market

For a low ph, on pasteurized milk with an ESL of 90 days.

 

The cap is a flat cap with an aluminum foil and the results achieved are fully in line with customer expectations: regarding performances, as well as securing product quality: it allows to get a total treatment without any chemical residue stuck behind the foil.
